Sotir Sotirov

Sotir Sotirov is Professor in the Department of Computer Systems and Technologies, Prof. Asen Zlatarov University, Burgas. He defended his PhD degree in Informatics in the same university in 2006. He is also a Head of Intelligent Systems Laboratory in Prof. Assen Zlatarov University and IEEE and EUSFLAT member.

His main research interests are neural networks, intuitionistic fuzzy sets and decision making under uncertainty, and mathematical modelling with generalized nets. He is a member of the Management Committee of the COST Action 17124 “Digital Forensics: Evidence Analysis via Intelligent Systems and Practices.”

In DIGILIENCE 2019 Prof. Sotirov leads the organization of the session on Intelligent Systems for Digital Forensics.
